Stunning at any time

Master of many media, Louis Comfort Tiffany and his studio produced stained-glass windows, lighting fixtures, furniture, textiles, and jewelry. He showcased many of his pieces in his Laurleton Hall home. The dining room of the estate featured a large mantelpiece, a floor-to-ceiling sheet of light-colored marble. Three instrument faces set with blue mosaic adorned it, including one beautiful clock face. That dramatic clock face is the basis for this stunning watch from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, produced in cooperation with the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, Winter Park, Florida. A bright 8" blue leather strap complements the mother of pearl and enamel inlay dial. The face measures 1 5/15".
