These tropical blossoms are guaranteed fresh forever

In ancient Polynesia, lovers traditionally created wreaths of delicate island flowers to express affection. Only the most beautiful blooms were chosen, including fragrant plumeria, lehua blossoms and orchids. Skilled hands twisted and weaved the stems of elaborate flowers into "living necklaces." Once the necklace had withered, it was customary to return the flowers to where they were collected or else burned, buried or hung from a tree. We've saved you a trip to the South Pacific and figured out a way for the "blooms" to stay fresh forever. Our Pacifica Drop Stone Necklace collects faceted dewdrops of cool blue topaz, smoky violet iolite and vibrant green peridot. Each of these colorful stones has been coveted for centuries. Ancient Greeks were convinced that blue topaz possessed the magical ability to increase strength and render the wearer invisible. Iolite was invaluable to the world's first Viking mariners who depended on the stone's unique visual properties. And the ancient Romans praised the luminous green shine of the peridot and nicknamed it "the emerald of the evening."

Each semi-precious stone is linked to the 16" vermeil cable chain with twisted gold vermeil wire and 2" extender. The strand drapes elegantly and drops with a dramatic cluster of ilote and peridot, anchored by a glistening teardrop of powder blue topaz. Lavish her in island luxury without leaving the mainland!
