Long ago, if you needed serious protection from temptation, you found yourself some amethyst. The popular purple stone was long believed to guard its wearer against seduction and drunkeness. It was the official stone of cardinals and bishops and even made an appearance in a Papal ring from the 15th century.
At its center, this ring features an impressive brilliant-cut, 1-3/4 carat amethyst set in rose gold vermeil. So, in theory, wearing this ring should keep you pure, chaste and temptation-proof. Unfortunately we made a huge mistake. We surrounded the well-meaning amethyst with a half-carat worth of twinkling and tempting, lab-created pink DiamondAura®. You see, we specifically (and scientifically) designed DiamondAura to be irresistible.
To make matters worse, we did the same thing with the pair of post-back earrings. Each features a 1-1/2 carat amethyst surrounded by 1/3 carat of pink DiamondAura set in rose gold vermeil. Clearly, resistance is futile. We apologize.
