Time travel at the speed of a 1930's Speedster?

I have several watches, but this will be a private one in my collection...

I have to say, this is an amazing watch. I just received it today and was impressed. This watch is solid and has some weight to it. I had seen this watch in a motorcycle magazine and I felt that I needed this watch. The design is great, it''s nothing like I''ve seen before. This watch is well made with a look that''s hard to beat, especially for the price. I highly recommend. Thanks Stauer for such a quality time/conversation piece.

great watch but i can''t read it without my reading glasses. is it possiable to get a magnifying lens ?

The Stauer watch is the most sophisticated watch i own in my small,yet growing collection of 7 watches in toltal it shall be passed down to my son one day

I''ve had this watch about a month or so now. The first one I received I ended up sending back because it would not keep time. I followed the instructions carefully, and even called customer service, (they were very helpful, by the way) but to no avail. In hindsight, I was not used to a watch that you had to wind, as this watch has no battery. I think maybe the watch I sent back was fine, and it was operator error that didn''t allow it to keep time properly. In either case, make sure you keep in wound. It is self-winding, but I always give it a few winds when I put it on and usually a few more once or twice a day. Since doing that, I''ve not had any problems. It comes with a "leather" band. The inside of the band is leather, but the outside I''m not convinced is. Not a big deal to me, since I changed it out anyway. To me, though, it felt as if the band would start to develop cracks in it if it was worn regularly, since it was so stiff. The watch takes a little getting used to, not having any hands. You have to be able to actually read the numbers to tell time, not just glancing at the hands. That also makes it difficult to read in dim light, since the watch has no back-lighting to help you read it at night or in dim light situations. Overall, so far I enjoy the watch. It''s just so different than I''m used to seeing. It''s a fun watch to wear, but I prefer to use my other watch, too, if I want the simplicity of just glancing at the hands to tell the time. The quality of the watch seems solid to me, and I believe the price to be reasonable for what you get. I don''t think anyone who is curious about it would be disappointed in it. It''s a neat, solid, heavy feeling watch.

I have the rolex and a trinatron but this watch is da snizzle. I've got so many "what kinda watch is that" then i get "I want one where do I get it"

Gotta say I like this watch design a lot. Not only is the design unusual, but, unlike some other more expensive watches, you can actually read the time instead of trying to figure out where the hands are in the midst of the watch face. Comfortable weight and nice brushed stainless steel with a beautiful strap. Seems to run accurately. Also like the fact that it''s an automatic, and no messing with batteries. Recommended

Received the watch as a birthday present from my wife. Unique, classy design. I would have given the watch a 5 star rating if it weren''t for one problem. The movement reflects the country of origin, China, by reading right to left, intead of left to right, and has to be studied a bit to read the time. It would have been much easier for western eyes and thinking to have the dials rotate counter-clockwise and the numerals to accend accordingly. Otherwise well done...

Saw this watch in a magazine when my wife and I were on our honeymoon. I love watches and this one of the most unique I have ever seen. My wife purchased this for my birthday and I couldn't be more pleased!! I hope no one ever buys another so I can be one of the few to own one.
