The 1930s brought unprecedented innovation in machine-age technology and materials. Industrial designers
from the auto industry translated the principals of aerodynamics and streamlining into everyday objects like
radios and toasters. It was also a decade when an unequaled variety of watch cases and movements came into
being. In lieu of hands to tell time, one such complication, called a jumping mechanism, utilized numerals
on a disc viewed through a window. With its striking resemblence to the dashboard gauges and radio dials of
the decade, the jump hour watch was indeed "in tune" with the times!
The Stauer 1930s Dashtronic deftly blends the modern functionality of a 21-jewel automatic movement
and 3-ATM water resistance with the distinctive, retro look of a jumping display (not an actual jumping
complication). The stainless steel 1-1/2" case is complemented with a black alligator-embossed leather
band. The band is 9-1/2" long and will fit a 7-8 1/2" diameter wrist.
If you have an appreciation for classic design with precision accuracy, the 1930s Dashtronic Watch is
built for you. This watch is a limited edition, so please act quickly. Our last two limited edition
watches are totally sold out!

Bought this watch as a gift because of its unique look. The gift-getter loved the look. I was a bit surprised at how large the watch was -- was not expecting it to be that big. But, it is quite comfortable and an attention getter -- he is happy with it.
This is a great watch! Looks good dressed up or down. Accurate time keeper. Love the automatic wind mechanism. Retro style, yet timeless! Excellent purchase, and the price is nice!
i don''t have one of these yet but plan on asking for it this christmas. haven''t worn a watch in 40 years but this is so unique i thought it might be a good time (no pun) to re-think wearing one again. the reviews pushed me over the edge so if nobody gives me one i''ll be back on line to buy it myself. kind of a digital analog combination. should be easy to read in the cockpit. will return with a first hand (not second hand) review once i have it around my wrist.

When I was reading the Super Chevy magazine, and I was just skimming through till what catch my eyes. The Dashtronic watch got my attention when the page passed by and I turned the page back to what got my attention. I never thought the beauty of the 1930 Dashtronic Speedster Watch will be of that beauty and to my mind and heart I am dreaming of owning one soon. I would rate it a 5 stars. I have the Promotional Code and waiting till the day I am ready to order it with a big smile.
Awesome watch, no batteries is a big plus and the dial is killer. I love watching people when they ask the time and I flip the watch towards them...It has thrown about everyone for a loop to figure out the time at first glance.

I was a little apprehensive about getting this, because my friend said, "It looks like a scale..." When I got this watch just now in the mail, I was BLOWN AWAY - amazing! I LOVE THIS WATCH! This company is doing it right....they are amazing...and I feel like a winner with every purchase!
This is by far the most conversation invoking watch in my vast collection. It is elegant and a superb timepiece. The pricing is perfect, and the performace is very exacting.

I just received my Dashtronic in the mail yesterday as a gift from my wife. The packaging was very elegant. The watch is extremely unique and substantial. I love being able to see the workings through the glass back of the watch.
My only issue is that I need to put on my glasses to see the exact minute. That, and my wife thought that she was buying the gold-finish version, I''m glad that she didn''t - the brushed steel finish matched matches the Art Deco industrial motif.
I am a guy and I have four older brothers. My Father bought five of these for us. This watch reminds him of his Father and his Grand-Father. They were both hard workers of the 30''s Era. They both wore them. Because I love cars, I highly enjoy the design. It''s comfortable and it allows me to remember three generations of my family.

Just received my watch from my wife for Christmas, I love this watch. The style, quality, and old fashion look. It looks dated and new, depending who looks at it. I will be a PROUD owner for years to come.
