I'm a night person. Always have been and always will be. My brain doesn't even function properly until after lunch. It's never been a problem. I just work while everybody else is sleeping and try to avoid being awake to catch the sunrise. Of course, once I started travelling more, that plan was pretty much shot.

As a world traveller I have to be ready for action wherever (and whenever) I land. I pack a business suit for meetings and a dinner suit for late night cocktails. Into the case go the brown shoes and the black, the appropriate matching socks and a mix of noon and midnight neckties.
Thankfully, now I only have to bring along one watch. The stunning 19-jeweled, two-faced Stauer Duello easily flips to fit my mood. All I have to do is choose between antique ivory and glossy black. Cafe breakfast in Geneva to catch up with watch designers? Ivory. Late supper at Alle Murate in Florence? Black. And for my afternoon siesta in Seville? I leave the watch in my briefcase (naps are sacred).
In designing this watch, I knew that it was vital to find the perfect balance between classic and contemporary. The Stauer Duello features a striking black dial and bold white Roman numerals on one side with an elegant ivory dial and blued numerals and hands on the reverse. The ivory face features an opening at the 3 o'clock position where you can watch the delicate flutter of the flywheel. At the 6 o'clock spot on the black dial, a complication marks the seconds. Each face on the two-sided timepiece is resplendent with precision-machined guilloche, an exquisite detail carried over from the master watchmakers of old. The case is antique gold fused. A black and brown genuine leather strap secures with a stainless steel buckle. Fits wrists 6-3/4" to 8-1/4". Two classic watches for the price of one.
