We spend a lot of time on the road, visiting watchmakers and attending antique watch auctions in order to bring you the most interesting, unique, and collectable watches from around the world. For the past three years, we've sought the smallest watch movement possible. Most craftsmen simply laughed at us. That is, until we found the sole supplier of a watch movement small enough for this watch. Like proud parents, we've shown off our new watch to those who once snickered at our request. Astonished, they ask "how did you do it?" We can only smile and tell them that it's our little secret.
The complications of the machinery and skill that united to create this watch may be a secret, but our manual wind Stauer Ladies Skeleton Watch has nothing to hide. The open face and back allow you to see right in to the fine inner workings of the watch. The case made of gold toned stainless steel and measures approximately 1 1/4" wide and 3/8" thick. A merlot colored leather band complements the case. The watch is water resistant to 5 ATMs.
