Great product! I had purchased a dual winder from a local jeweler and it could not be closed when there were watches on the roters, as there was insufficient clearance for even a medium sized watch. This one has lots of clearance and comes with a number (8) of pillows to put watches on. I''ve been using it constantly now for about 4 or 5 months and really enjoy knowing my automatic movement watches are being kept wound.

great looking winder, I like the two winders working independently of each other, winding two watches each. I also like the see thru top so you can see that it is working without having to open it up, also runs very quiet. also like dual swithces to be able to turn off each winder to remove single watch without having to turn off whole unit, would recommend anyone to buy. Going to buy second one for rest of my watches

First off the winder is a great price for a 4 watch winder. At $195 it is at least $100 - $150 less expensive than others. It''s appearance is fine, and plenty of clearance for the watches which is a concern with others I checked out. The duel switch offering two rotation options is a nice touch. The included a/c adapter has an extra long cord allowing you to place the winder in a convenient location. The included instructions state that it can be battery operated however I could not see how. I may have misread the info and I don''t have it to recheck. The only problem is that my watches would not stay wound. This includes Stauer, Tag Hauer, Seiko & Citizen. They were wound to the max to start and quickly ran down. Even after wearing for 14 -16 hours within 2 days they had stopped. Free return shipping is appreciated even if it is by way of 10 day USPS. I hope the new one ships back quicker. I was told there have been no problems with the winders and I am sure that is true. When the replacement arrives I will be purchasing a second due to having more than 4 automatics and I plan on purchasing additional. It would be a nice gesture if Stauer happens to include a gift or token with the return. A note on Stauer watches. I have many and have never had a problem. I receive many compliments. Keep in mind the Stauer watches I own are on the low end of the price spectrum, $195 and under. Now I know of their quality I plan on working my way up the Price chain. Upon receipt of my replacement I will update this review and hopefully raise the star rating level to a 5, the same rating I give all the watches I have purchased from Stauer. Oh...my wife got hold of the jewelry catalog and that is cutting into my watch budget! I will let her write her own reviews if she wishes but I will say she is a happy lady.

I have been the proud owner of a Stauer Quad Watch Winder for about two months now and want to report that it is a wonderful product. It winds my small collection of watches including Stauers, a Seiko and a seventy four year old Wyler. All are easily maintained by this beautiful machine! If your collection includes automatic watches, this winder is an investment you must make. You will not find a better product anywhere! As with all Stauer products, it is both beautiful and an excellent value.
