Here's a handbag that isn't afraid to act like a handbag. Which is good news because even when my wife travels light, she packs enough to warrant a sherpa. And that sherpa would be me. That's why I'm so excited about our new Prestige Leather Handbag. It's roomy enough to carry all of her stuff. And it's stylish enough that she loves to show it off.
Maybe I'm just biased because I've lived through her "small bag phase." Have you seen those dainty designer handbags? Those ridiculously expensive "glamour wallets" that can either hold a cell phone or a compact? This isn't one of those. In fact, you could probably squeeze about a half dozen of those petite purses in here. And you'd still have room to spare.
But I couldn't give my stamp of approval on capacity alone. I don't consider a handbag great until it's been banged around for a few thousand miles. I need to know it can survive the rigors of international travel, including the rough ride from airport to train station and from taxi cab to hotel lounge. The good news? The Prestige passed our "long weekend in Paris test" with flying colors. My wife's new favorite handbag is crafted of sturdy genuine leather with a classic crocodile pattern. Features two elegant, leather loop handles and lustrous brass hardware throughout, including snap-locking magnetic clasps. Dimensions are 14" x 6½" x 11". Ridiculously tiny glamour wallets sold separately.
