Since earthly time is measured at regular 12 month intervals, the moon's month is at odds with our calendar. A lunar month is 29.53 days, so a moon phase watch needs to keep time in two totally different ways. Antique watch collectors highly value this rare type of complex movement.

The understated vintage design of our Luna29 timepiece belies the complexity of the movement. This design combines the time-honored tradition of multi-function watches that are setting record high prices in the most distinguished auction houses. The watch was designed with assistance from Hartwig Balke, a renowned watch engineer. The present watch boasts a combination of three rare complications: a standard monthly calendar, a day of the week indicator and the moon's phases are graphically depicted.
