A 19th-century master returns

Lost designs from an Italian jewelry legend

Genius is not always recognized in a timely manner. Camillo Bertuzzi isn't exactly a household name, but in the 19th century he was one of the most respected jewelry artists of his time. Born to a family of goldsmiths in Milan, he went on to work for esteemed jewelers in Florence, Paris and London. Through his career he designed thousands of pieces of jewelry that adorned the most beautiful women in the world. His work was worn by French royals and aristocrats, wealthy Victorians and outspoken Italian socialites. Bertuzzi was a hardworking, passionate craftsman whose eye for elegant detail made luxury history.

And now he's making it again.

Today his 19th-century designs are reborn... only at Stauer. We're proud to give you access to a modern take on Bertuzzi's most memorable jewelry. Inspired by the original sketches and full of the luxurious detail that defined him as an artist, this Blue Topaz & Seed Pearl Necklace is the perfect introduction to his signature style. The exquisite pendant is crafted of .925 sterling silver and fused with 14K yellow gold. A quartet of blue topaz gemstones is set in an elaborate garland of precious metal and in each delicate leaf glows with a lustrous, white seed pearl. The Blue Topaz & Seed Pearl Ring is a revelation in antiqued .925 sterling silver. The shape and size of the emerald-cut, whispery blue topaz at the center is the perfect complement to the surrounding stones, dramatic silver swirls and shimmery seed pearls.

This is your chance to wear history. Bertuzzi dedicated his life to creating art with precious metal and rare stones. His work survives in the finest collections of Europe. Now you can experience the elegance for yourself.
