Our dance instructor’s name was Lucia. This is what she told us on day one, “Rule #1: Nobody dances alone. In a tango, there is always a leader and a follower. Always two. Always together.”
It seemed like an obvious rule to all the couples who signed up for class. But there was something about the way Lucia said it that made it seem so much more profound. Some people talk with their hands. Lucia gestured with her entire body. Every word was punctuated by action, as if her life depended on keeping in motion. It did. She was born to dance.
So was our DiamondAura® Tango Collection. Its swirls of sterling silver finished with sumptuous rose gold reminded me of Lucia’s lesson that it takes two to tango. Designers partnered the precious metal with dozens of brilliant white, lab-created DiamondAura embellishments. In dance lingo, embellishments are the stylish tango moves that add personality to every step. They include ochos (figure eights), giros (turns) and boleos (an impressive flourish of the leg). Ours sparkle along the undulating ribbons and inside the loops of precious metal. Each piece showcases a bold display of brilliant rounds, squares and emerald-cuts.
