It's lucky for watch collectors that many patents expire after 75 years because in 1929 the finest watchmaker in Switzerland created a very rare timepiece. The design was so limited that only a handful ever show up for auction. So now, since the patents have expired, we are able to handcraft the world's first replica of this watch at a fraction of the price of an original. And we are confident that this modern replica is far more accurate than its 80-year-old cousin. Inspired by this design, our Stauer Vendage has been painstakingly handcrafted to meet the demanding standards of vintage watch collectors.
“Complicated.” This watch never needs batteries and never needs to be manually wound. It's powered by the movement of the body. The interior dials display the day and month. The Vendage has a 27 jeweled automatic movement and an etched guilloche face that is truly magnificent.
A Masterpiece for a low price... How is that possible? We have adapted Swiss technology and engineered exceptional components to build the Vendage. This limited edition Stauer Vendage allows you to wear the watch design that, until now, has only been displayed in high priced collections and auction houses. Gold-finished metal band fits wrists 6 ½"–9".
