At first glance, the rolling green hills of the English countryside look perfectly ordinary. But look closer and you'll find that they hide some of history's greatest secrets. Not far from the remaining sections of Hadrian's Wall, (built by the Roman Emperor in the Second Century), these hills hosted fierce battles between the Celtic Britons and the invading Saxons. Heroes clashed and history was made. No doubt countless artifacts were lost in combat, only to be rediscovered as buried treasure centuries later.
British museums are filled with the elaborately decorated weapons and jewelry of those ancient Celtic warriors. Browsing their impressive collections was where I found inspiration for the design of our Celtic Warrior Ring. This is a real man's ring, hefty and wide and forged of sturdy sterling silver. The expertly etched, Celtic-inspired designs wrap completely around the outside of the band and culminate in a regal cross design set inside an ornate square frame. The details are made even bolder by the oxidation process used to mimic the look of a relic lost long ago. Inside the band, we've set a single lab-created DiamondAura®, a traditional touch meant to symbolize a faraway love held close by constant contact with the skin. Secret proof that this old soldier is really a romantic at heart.
