The Czar's jeweler was a genius. As the creator of decorative pieces for Russia's royalty, the master craftsman and his assistants created dozens of unique Imperial Eggs. No two were the same and each is now worth a fortune. The process usually took an entire year of design, planning and fabrication. As the royal jeweler, he was able to retain some of the best goldsmiths, enamellers, silversmiths, jewelers and stone-cutters in the world. Together they invented jewelry techniques, mixed bold new colors and pushed their creativity and skill far beyond where they had gone before. It's fitting then that we pay tribute to Russia's legendary royal egg art with some innovation of our own.
The decorative, enameled, Anastasia Jewelry Egg evokes the style of the Romanov masterpieces. Rich orange, rose and pink dance among the hand-painted, scalloped and scrolled design and the entire egg rests elegantly on a gleaming, crystal-studded stand. What's the big secret? The hinged egg flips open to reveal a luxury interior for displaying (and storing) a miniature Anastasia Egg Pendant which dangles from a 24" cable chain.
