The Wrist is History
From great chaos emerged a stunning American beauty… When Mount Saint Helen’s erupted on May 18, 1980, it burned over 230 square miles of land in the Pacific Northwest. The swath of destruction left in its wake was unexpected. But what it yielded in the aftermath was even more surprising. When cleaning after the eruption, it was accidentally discovered that, when heated, the elements in the volcanic rock would fuse to form a rich, deep green, similar to an emerald. The process was later perfected in strict lab conditions to achieve magnificent deep green helenite, “America’s emerald.”
Helenite is indeed a piece of American history, and now she can wear this storyteller as a beautiful bracelet. We found the cream of the crop of helenite and had it cut and faceted by skilled craftsmen into a perfect teardrops. Enhancing this stunning miracle of nature even more are rounds of the Ultimate Diamond Alternative™, DiamondAura®. Set in .925 sterling silver, this is a bracelet that promises to make a romantic impact of historical proportions.

My husband bought me this as a early birthday present. It is so very pretty. Love how it sparkles. The one thing that concerns me is the clasp. It just slides in (does not click to lock) and then a safety bar goes over it. I will be concerned when wear it. I usually wear a bracelet everyday even to work but don't think I should with this. I do think it's one that will attract attention! I would have given it five stars except for the clasp.
