300 carats of the stone that sets the bar
In 1812, mineralogist Friedrich Mohs established a reference scale of ten common minerals, ranked in order of increasing hardness. Now called the Moh’s Scale of Hardness, jewelers worldwide depend upon it.
As the defining mineral for 7 on the Mohs scale, chalcedony quartz is known to set the standard when it comes to gemstone hardness for jewelry gemstones. Chalcedony also takes an excellent polish, in fact, after a prolonged polish, chalcedony can exhibit a glow that seems to emanate from within.
We’ve gathered together red chalcedony gemstones and tumble polished them to a lustrous sheen. We then added creamy mother-of-pearl beads and intricate gold-finished spacers to create a substantial collection you’d be hard-pressed to find anywhere else at such an amazing price.
