In their highly skilled hands, genuine turquoise is carefully crushed and then reformed into a wonderfully pliable substance called “Pasta di Turchese.” The artisans use this “turquoise pasta” to form flawless beads, mirroring the 'robin's egg blue' purity of the highly sought-after Sleeping Beauty turquoise from Arizona.
