They say “a leopard can’t change its spots”, but that wasn’t taking into account the centuries old art form of Murano. Here, the artisans use a technique that requires a steady hand, patience and a whole lot of expertise. This precision-oriented process called “Cuore in foglia d’oro” (heart in gold leaf) infuses Murano glass with 24K gold leaf, resulting in a beautiful golden yellow shimmer. No two leopards spots are identical. Every one is its own work of art. 

There are a lot of Murano imposters out there, so buyer beware. You can rest assured the Murano you get from us is the real deal. We have personally met the artisans and visit them frequently from our office in Arezzo. As a result, our price and quality of Murano is superlative to what’s in the marketplace.
