Back in 1935, the Italian Royal Navy set up a secret program to create a new line of underwater assault vehicles and needed new tools to complete the job. Nice big heavy watch.

More of a rose color than yellow gold. Interesting and unique leather band embossing. Bezel is polished case is brushed. Laser engraved buckle. Tapered band. Screw-on stainless steel case back. Japanese movement. Nice piece. I sold a Timex to make room for this in my collection.

Exceeded Expectations

Received as Christmas gift 2021. Considering this watch is one of the lower priced watches offered by Stauer - for its price point I would rate it a 5 in value! Not too big and some good weight to it. Note that the watch face has a textured gold tone to it not like the white face on the website picture - but that''s OK - very nice-looking watch! The dark blue hands stand out making reading the time a pleasure! Caseback does indicate a Japanese movement. Caseback indicates historical authentic reproduction and I suspect Stauer reproduction watches are of a higher quality. Plan to wear it frequently.

Very Large Watch

I bought this watch using a special offer Stauer.Having worn the same watch daily for almost 50 yrs this watch by comparison is huge. It is a good looking watch and seems to keep correct time. Took a while to break in the band but the watch is comfor to wear. Well worth the money.

Masculine but Chic

I was very pleasantly surprised. My first Stauer purchase and a nice substantial masculine yet classic watch. Can''t go wrong with a Japanese movement. Nice strap too. It is a buy.
