All the colors of the Amalfi Coast, the sea’s deep blue, the striking green forests and the golden yellow of the citrus groves meet up in Vietri, particularly in the glazes and patterns of this gorgeous Campanian town’s beautiful ceramics. Vietri has been famous for its Majolica for centuries, and these splendid materials even cover the altars, cupola and the cusp of the Parish Church of St. John the Baptist, dating to 1732.
In the Amalfi Majolica Tiles Collection, our Italian artisans have handset miniature Majolica ceramic tiles–– created from Lavic stones from Mount Vesuvius–– into intricate settings of pure sterling silver finished in yellow gold. Handset on each piece is a perfect freshwater pearl, a tribute to the coastal roots of this beautiful 15th century architectural treasure.
Collection includes: pendant, chain and earrings
