Stop time in its tracks
The Paragon Chronograph represents a horological milestone with classic good looks
In this day and age, a stopwatch is overlooked as just one of the hundreds of functions digitally embedded into our smartphones. However, there was once a time where a timepiece that doubled as a stopwatch was groundbreaking. The revolutionary addition found use in aviation, military operations and even astronomy. This invention was the chronograph.
The first modern chronograph was invented by Louis Moinet in 1816 solely for use with astronomical equipment. It was Nicolas Mathieu Rieussec who developed the first marketed chronograph at the behest of King Louis XVIII in 1821 so his Majesty could record the lap time of his beloved horse races. Over the years, the chronograph continued to evolve, yet the genius complication that defined it remained the same.
The Paragon Chronograph achieves this centuries old horological achievement with classic good looks. You could find a similar chronograph for a whole lot more, but why would you? With the Paragon Chronograph on your wrist, you know you're wearing a piece of horological history for a price that's historically low
