Murano pearls?
We put the talents of Murano glassmakers to the test, and they delivered
On the island of Murano, just north of Venice, they’ve been perfecting the art of glassmaking for hundreds and hundreds of years. Since the 13th century, the hardworking and ingenious men and women of Murano have been honing their craft and then passing it on down the generations. After more than 700 years of perfecting the process, these craftsmen can do anything with glass. So we challenged them to do something special.
The result is the Murano Meridian Necklace. The ingenious glassworkers have used Murano glass to recreate the luxurious look and style of the two most distinctive pearls in the world —mysterious, black Tahitian pearls and unique, non-spherical, white Baroque pearls. These two types of pearls are very different, but the artisans of Murano embraced the challenge and delivered perfection.
The black and white brilliance of the Murano Meridian Necklace radiates quality and class. The Tahitian and Baroque styles contrast with and complement each other to create a necklace whose quality is plain to see— it’s in black and white. The Murano Meridian Necklace is 700 years of talent in one necklace.
