“The true gentleman is one who has been fashioned after the highest models...his qualities depend not on fashion or manners but upon moral worth—not on personal possessions but upon personal qualities.” This excerpt from Happy Homes and the Hearts that Make Them was written in 1882 and it got me thinking. Good old fashioned manners and the men who wield them aren’t celebrated enough.
So I created The Gentry. This is a watch that pays tribute to the man who doesn’t think twice about opening the door or giving up his seat for a lady. This is a watch that says the wearer is a man of impeccable taste and virtue. This my friend, is the timepiece of a true gentleman. Aesthetically striking, the Gentry retains all the hallmarks of a well-bred wristwatch including a rose gold-finished case, antique ivory guilloche face, blue Breguet-style hands, and a crocodile-embossed leather band.
A gentlemen strives to be punctual, however if you do happen to running late, the Gentry will not be to blame, as the precision crystal movement oscillates at an unbelievable 32,768 times per second, making time accurate to 0.2 seconds per day. When it comes to pricing we adhere to good manners as well. Overcharging just because of a big brand name is pretty rude if you ask me. Which is why we priced the Gentry with principle and fairness. Modern technology with a vintage price, I can’t think of a better way to revive the chivalry, timeless style and etiquette of yesteryear.
