Mermaid Reunites Long Lost Lovers
The perils of the sea are no match for the mermaid's treasure known as aquamarine.
Ever since ancient times, sailors have sworn by aquamarine as a talisman and protector for anyone traveling on the open water. According to legend, aquamarine originated in the treasure chest of mermaids, and has since ancient times, been regarded as "the sailor's lucky stone."
We've heard the legend of men heading out to sea with aquamarine and once they safely return, that same stone becomes a gift for their sweetheart. That romantic tradition is carried forward in our stunning Aquamarine Ice Ring.
Derived from the Latin words for "water of the sea," the refreshing blue aquamarine gemstone is embraced by a polished, .925 sterling silver setting and surrounded by shimmering white stones. You get the full effect of the aquamarine in a stunning 1.40 carat emerald cut, which floods the icy blue color with waves of brilliant light.
Aquamarine has excellent clarity and transparency. In fact, a member of the beryl family, aquamarine is a sister of the rich green emerald. And, with it's gorgeous baby blues, it' easy to see why the emerald may get a tad green with envy.
You can easily find one carat aquamarine rings for over $5,000 at Fifth Avenue jewelers. Bringing you luxury for less is our mission at Stauer, so we priced our Aquamarine Ice Ring so you can make a splash without shelling out too many clams. No need to test the waters. Slip this remarkable ring on her finger and create a legend of your own without risking the perils of the sea.

Aquamarine Ice Ring
Just received my ring. The picture shown on Stauer's site does NOT do it justice; the stones sparkle unbelievably bright...better than "real" stones! Be aware that the ring is also much smaller than shown.
My recommendation...this ring should be purchased for women or girls who have slender, delicate hands. My hands are larger and, when wearing this ring, it looks like I have a young girl's ring on.
Finally, I wish Stauer would have models wear their jewelry so we can get a better idea of size before purchsing. Thank you!
I love this ring!
I have loved this ring for so long and finally got it. I was not disappointed! The stone is just as perfect as in the picture - the whole ring is. I think the stone is a perfect size (it is the same as the stone for the matching necklace). I agree that it would be nice to see the jewelry on a model or with something to allow an idea of size, but this ring is comparable to the size of other rings I've bought from Stauer. It is so pretty!

Yes models please
Yes I agree about adding pictures with real models. Other jewelry sites use them and it gives you confidence in what you are buying. Don't know why Stauer hasn't done this already.
Not sure how to rate it, haven't bought one yet!
How come only girls are giving reviews and saying they actually bought their own ring! Don't guys buy their girlfriends rings anymore? I know I will! This ring is Gorgeous!
Love the aquamarine but i wish the stone was a bit bigger. The color is so faint that it can get lost with my skin color. The stone is starting to turn a gray color so i have to send it back to get a new one but i will keep ordering from Stauer.

I bought this ring for my mother since her Birthday is in March and this is her birthstone... The stone though is more white than blue. I'm confused by the stone color since it is shown in the photos as a blue stone. The ring is a beautiful ring but the stone is not as blue as the photo shows.
