Amethyst meets Italian-made Byzantine
design for a new generation of royalty
Throughout history, great rulers have agreed on one thing: amethyst. In Ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt, the rare and powerful purple gemstone was a symbol of wealth and opulence. The legacy can be traced all the way to today, where the British Royal Scepter with Cross, held in the sovereign’s right hand during coronation, features a large, octagonal, faceted amethyst.
The Imperial Amethyst Ring combines the gemstone of royalty with impeccable Italian metalwork, embedding an individual purple amethyst in Byzantine-style, gold-finished precious metal. The Italians made Byzantine metalwork world-renowned for its attention to detail, resulting in sophisticated, labyrinthine patterns— the perfect setting for a regal gemstone like amethyst. And, we sought out the finest craftsman in Italy to unite these two treasures into one opulent collection.
For thousands of years, rulers were the only people who could afford to wear the purple of amethyst. But more recent discoveries have lowered prices dramatically, allowing us to offer the Imperial Amethyst Ring at a royal price. If you’d like to be adorned with the full regalia, add the bracelet and earrings. The time has come for us to crown a new generation of royalty, and we’d like to start with you.
