Your crown awaits
One total carat of genuine rubies or emeralds set in 18K gold-finished sterling silver
The Crown Jewels are ceremonial treasures that have been acquired by English kings and queens since 1660. But they don’t just sit pretty behind glass. The Crown Jewels have had a turbulent history. Among many eventual occurrences, King John is said to have lost the Crown Jewels in quicksand in 1216. Edward III pawned the jewels to pay his troops, and the wife of Charles the First also managed to pawn the Crown Jewels in Holland. During the Second World War the jewels were hidden in a secret location which has never been disclosed. We can see why!
We didn’t go through quicksand to procure these treasures, but we did venture to Arezzo to seek out one of Italy’s best artisans to craft some crown jewels of our own. Forged of pure sterling silver and finished in 18K gleaming yellow gold, each ring holds three precious gems weighing one total carat.
Emeralds are among the world’s most favored precious gems. An Italian made genuine gemstone and precious metal ring would cost a king’s ransom elsewhere. But because we keep our coffers filled with timely gemstone buys, we can give you a royal bargain.
