I was lucky to score balloon ride tickets for my wife and I. From our vantage point over 2,000 feet in the sky we took in the gorgeous mosaic of colors of the New Mexico landscape below. I knew then that my wife would love to keep this memory with her, so as soon as I returned home, I found an artisan jewelry shop that specializes in intricate mosaic jewelry. I asked them if they could recreate the wonder my wife and I just witnessed. Behold the result.
The artisans have meticulously handset colorful stones like turquoise and lapis into sterling silver capturing the wonder and magic of those buoyant floating aircrafts. A wondrous way to sweep her off her feet.
