You can try to escape the number five, but you won’t have much luck. Pause to think on it and you’ll start to see five everywhere: in the number of fingers and toes on your hands and feet, in the number of petals on most flowers, in the legs of a starfish on the beach. Humans are said to have five senses, and the Earth is composed of five elements according to the ancient Greeks and Chinese philosophy. The same could be said of the number seven: There are seven days in a week, seven colors in a rainbow, seven continents on the globe, seven wonders of the world and seven seas. Is it any wonder that five and seven are often cited as lucky numbers by cultures and individuals around the world?

When we designed our Lucky in Love Set, though, we weren’t taking any chances. That’s why we combined two of the luckiest numbers with one of the luckiest gemstones: luscious purple amethyst. Beloved by royals throughout antiquity and featured in the British Crown Jewels, amethyst is said to symbolize wealth, success and abundance, as well as spirituality and healing.
