The first thing I noticed was the blade. Eleven inches of steel etched with distinctive feather-like markings that give it the look of something made for a much earlier, tougher era. Then you notice the handle: genuine camel bone paired with rich pakkawood, accented with gleaming metal details that give the whole knife an unmistakably old-school presence.
This is not some anonymous, mass-market knife. At a commanding 16” overall, it has the size, weight and character you want from a serious Bowie. The substantial handle feels worthy of the blade, while the included sheath keeps it protected and ready to carry.
But here is the problem: you may have a hard time putting it away.
There is simply too much to look at. From the feather-patterned steel to the contrasting bone and wood handle, this is the kind of knife that earns a prominent place in a collection. Set it on a desk, display it in the den or tuck it into its sheath — the effect is equally impressive.
They do not make many knives with this much old-school swagger anymore. Fortunately, we do.
And while the blade is intimidating, the price is anything but.
