A wide variety of gems are found in Sri Lanka, but none is more celebrated than the Ceylon sapphire, world famous for its vibrant blue hues. While our Gem Island Sapphire Collection isn’t from Sri Lanka, it features sapphires of a similar hue to its famous counterpart that would otherwise be $10,000 per carat. We’re charging substantially less for our genuine sapphires, which have been gently finished with obsidian to bring out their finest color.
