For our latest earring set, we’ve really outdone ourselves. We’ve married two of our favorite gemstones, tanzanite and zircon, and set them in teardrop-shaped .925 sterling silver earrings.
Tanzanite can only be found one place on Earth: the Merelani Hills in the shadow of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa. According to legend, a bolt from the sky set the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro ablaze, revealing the sparkling violet-blue of tanzanite below the surface.
And zircon is the oldest gemstone on Earth, with some specimens from Australia dating back 4.4 billion years. It was the first crystal to form in molten granite as it cooled to form rock.
We’ve married these two together in our Legendary Teardrop Earrings, a name that reflects the legendary legacy of these two great gemstones.
